What is the morning traffic like in Indianapolis?
This thanksgiving I am traveling from Dayton OH to Milwaukee WI. I am leaving dayton between 5-6 and should hit indianapolis around around. What will the traffic be like on a wednesday morning? I need to catch a train in chicago and need to make sure I account for proper traffic patters when heading from the west to the east. Also is is best to go thought downtown or take the bypass? I wouldn't worry about the traffic in Indy at all. You'll blow thru here hardly slowing down. If I were you, I would take 70 west thru downtown Indy to 65 north. 465 on the Northeast side of town can get slow sometimes.
